Dr. Bhoopendra Pandey 

Bhoopendra Pandey is an IoE (Institute of Eminence) Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IISc-Bangalore. He is working in the Plasma Lab, Center for Sustainable Technologies, IISc-Bangalore, and is being mentored by Professor L N Rao. He received a doctoral degree from NIT Uttarakhand, India, in collaboration with BITS Pilani, in 2023 on “Performance Enhancement of a Downdraft Biomass Gasifier: Modified Air Distribution, Gasifying Agent Variation, and CFD Analysis”. His research areas are Fixed and Fluidized bed biomass gasification and pyrolysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Biodiesel production and utilisation, Alternate Fuels and Emissions, Internal Combustion Engines, and Modeling and Simulation. He has over six years of extensive research experience spanning across esteemed institutions such as IIT Kanpur, BITS Pilani, NIT Uttarakhand, and MNRE Kapurthala.
